In this lesson, we have explored how to create a virtual workspace that supports you to be focused, productive, healthy and happy in your work. Beginning with environmental factors such as lighting, temperature and soundscape, we progressed to look at the equipment and furnishing you will use and finally, the habits that you will create for your working day.
There are lots of practical, tangible elements to getting your workspace set up adequately, and also things to consider on a psychological level. Your success in your virtual office is as much about your mindset, attitude and willpower as it is about your chair, desk and lighting.
